Pre-announcement for the next FurcoNZ

The next FurcoNZ organization/staff team is hard at work to finalize plans for the next upcoming event, and once all the finer details have been sorted out, we will be updating this site and open registration.

For now, here are what you need to know!

Where: Brookfield Outdoor Education Center, Wainuiomata, Wellington, New Zealand

Dates: 6th - 9th February, 2014 (Thursday till Sunday, Waitangi Day weekend)

Registration types and cost:
"Full Event" - this covers the entire FurcoNZ: accomodation (Thursday to Saturday nights), fully catered meals: dinner for Thursday; breakfast, lunch and dinner for Friday and Saturday; breakfast for Sunday (8 main meals), and access to all activities, panels, dances and lodge site area during the entire weekend.
We will aim to keep early standard "Full Event" registration cost to NZ$ 99.00 (as per previous years)

There will also be "Full Event - Sponsor" level registration on offer, this covers the entire FurcoNZ (as per above) + more! Including: first-in-line and extra goodies for meal services (full 3 course dinner served), plus more benefits (preferential treatment to events for example, details to be finalized).

"Day Pass" - this covers entry for Friday and/or Saturday. You will have access to all activities, panels, dances and lodge site area during the day(s) that you are staying.
These will also be avalible this year.


The first question that pops to mind for many would be "does that mean there is no FurcoNZ in 2013"? Technically that's correct as we have pushed back the next event by a little bit (to the middle/end of summer), however, this IS for all intents and purposes "FurcoNZ 2013".

We may very well have an event again in our typical late November/early December timeframe (start of summer) following the next event, which would make that event back on schedule to be "FurcoNZ 2014".


Please remember, FurcoNZ will be a fully catered event at a remote lodge/campsite, and your registration cost will cover:
- Accomodation at the lodge/camp site for the weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights)
- Fully catered meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during your stay
- And any other goodies that we will hopefully whip up for participants

Donations
We welcome any donations from those who wants to contribute more towards this event. The more donations we get, the better the event will be for you! Better foods and meals, more goodies, better equipment hire just to name a few. At the end of the day, any amount left over will be carried forward to the running of future events.
