So, another year, another FurcoNZ now over. Hoped everyone enjoyed their time down in the Hunua Ranges and at Kokako Lodge.

Let me and the staff for FurcoNZ 2010 thank you all for attending and making it yet another great weekend. And for those that like to keep tabs on numbers and statistics, here they are:

Final attendance: 66
Full registrations (staying 2+ nights): 65
Day passes: 1

And for some more fun statistics:
Oldest attendee: 43 years old
Youngest attendee: 16 years old
Average age of our attendees: 25 years old
Male attendees: 53
Female attendees: 13

A 14% growth of the final/overall attendance from last year is pretty good. More importantly, the vast majority (in fact, apart from only 1) this year are for "full registration". 65 attendees on site throughout the weekend compared with 48 last year, that's a 37% growth.

So once again, thank you for all your continued support, and hopefully we will beat these numbers again next year!

Official fursuit photos are now avaliable from our gallery page, so go check them out.
For those who simply wants to download all the FurcoNZ 2010 fursuit photos in one go, it is avaliable as a ZIP file with the photos in 2400x1600 resolution (which should be more than good enough to fill a FullHD LCD screen if you want to use them as a desktop wallpaper).

Regular (non-fursuit) photos are still being processed and will be uploaded later, and an annoucement will be made once they are avaliable for our FurcoNZ 2010 attendees to view/download.

We are in the process of gathering all photo/video materials for the website, various Furry convention/meet photo-caches and onto our 2010 video release. As we've stated in the Terms/Conditions and Code of Conduct, please repect the privacy of others and while you are free to do whatever you want with the photos that you've taken, if there are other people in your photo/video and they do not wish those to be publicly avaliable, then keep them in a private only share (online).

*IMPORTANT* If you DO NOT WANT photos or videos of you being published publicly online (on the website, various Furry convention/meet photo-caches and the 2010 DVD/video release) that happened during FurcoNZ this year, let us know immediately.

The 2010 DVD/video won't be worked on/released until later this year (possibly 2nd half of 2011), and we'll make another announcement regarding that later on.

Planning for this year's event has already begun, so please check back this site in the coming months for more information regarding FurcoNZ 2011.
