The event every kiwi fur waits for. FURCONZ!
This year it's in Pohangina, just north of Palmerston North, at Camp Rangi Woods! This place is massive with cabin space for 70 people, more in tents!
Use your furry name for both first and last name. Easier that way.

Yes, registering is the same as getitng a bed space.
As for the cabins, they are bunks. Each has power outlets, a heater and such, and each bed has a mattress with it. You must provide sheets/sleepingbag etc.

Hi guys.
Im from the uk and im traveling NZ. I havent been to any furry convention's before and only have limited knowledge of what it is. I am intrested in it though. Im curious about the lifestyle and what its all about. Im traveling about NZ on the magic bus and im currently in wellington. I was just wondering if i could talk to someone about it ie the event and possibly lifestyle. can I have an email adress so i can talk more in detail?? I have an email adress and it would be helpful/useful for me to have a chat. I do want to go to the event but im abit unsure right now. I also have msn.

Are cabins, first in first searved, or can we researve cabin space? My friend and I dont own a tent.

That's a good point. I don't mind tenting (I'm a ground dweller completely), but my compadre Mooner isn't a tent girl at all. Is there any way of alerting people to what their accommodations are so that they can prepare?

just wondering, are there are any furs coming from further south that could possibly pick me up on the way
Kendra and I will be there, if all goes well between now and then. Cost isn't the problem. It is just a case of making sure I don't have any work on. I won't know that until much closer to the con. If I do go, there should be space in the car for a couple of furs headin up from Wellington. ;)

Im 15...and im wondering if there is an age limit for this? and if so, do i need parental consent, or parental supervision?
There isn't an age limit as such - The only thing will be the law at the time, so no drinking or tobacco yada yada yada. Parental consent would be nice. I will be drafting up a form for that kind of thing soon.
