Donations

Hi guys. Hope all enjoyed the long weekend! The donation system is now LIVE and ready to go!

How does it all work? Pretty simple. It costs money to put on an event like this, and every little bit counts. At the moment, with no donations, it's $60 a head to attend the event. This is for all 3 nights (friday, saturday, sunday) and it INCLUDES MEALS. Yes! I kid you not, it includes the food! How awesome is that! The more people donate, the cheaper it will become for you to attend (and this is indicated on the right hand side of the site with a meter), eventually becoming FREE to attend! A running total will also be provided, but basically around the $2,500 mark is required for everyone to be free, be well fed, and have a damn good time. The rules beyond that are the more that's donated, the better it gets. Better food, better things, we pretty much just crank up the awesome until there's no more money left in the con fund!

Now I hear you all asking, "Meow! This sounds bloody fantastic! How do I make something awesome even more awesome for everyone?!" Simple. Two ways you can donate are by clicking the donation button on the right under the meter to make a donation via PayPal. Most major credit cards are accepted via this method. The other way for those without credit cards, is to donate directly into the FurCoNZ 08 bank account. Details are:
